Red head, pale skin, i need help with my prom look?
I’m a redhead, have death pale skin as most of my kind do, and i need major help! Okay, so I’ve been told over and over again to wear blue blue blue. Its a great color, so i’m not complaining, but is that really the best color? I’ve been looking at this one emerald green dress. What’s the best color for both red hair and pale skin? Dress wise.
Second, my eye makeup has always been a hassle. I’ve got two pics where you can sort of see the makeup. Sorry, i wear glasses, so they kinda get in the way in pictures, plus i am not photogenic. I end up looking like i have black eyes usually. I go with bright blues usually cause its like the only thing i can think of. I only do upper lid mascara as well. What should i do?
Third, my skin looks like the dead. What should i do to help that? Tanning doesn’t work because in beds i burn to a crisp like bacon and a spray tan on a readhead doesn’t sound like a good idea. I just want it to look healthy. Also, i wonder the best exfoliating techniques cause i break out in the T-zone alot.
Finally, my hair. Its now about a shade darker than the close up with me giving the peace sign, more like the one of me in my purple dress with my best buddy. Should I get highligts? Try and dye it again? Leave it?
Thanks for listening to my questions! Here are pics so you know what to go by:
My average daily look, but with hair straightened:

I Think Navy/Royal blue looks best with redheads. Or Khaki (Although Not Always best for Prom Dresses)
Try Some natural colours (beiges) lighter on the inner eye and darker on the outer (not too extreme and blended together) and a slick of eyeliner. Also put mascara on upper and lower lashes to open the eyes and draw attention.
For more help look up images of Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud. She rocks redhair and pale skin!!!
tuquiose or green dress will look nice with brown eye make-up http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=A0WTcJItFulJn0IB6Azsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090417160400AACLywB
You look pretty in the second picture with the blue dress! Wear blue.
You have gorgeous hair, very pretty girl! I think red hair and green are so pretty together. Try different shades of green and see which you like best. I would think a pretty dark green would be nice. Don’t worry about your skin, if you would have darker skin, it wouldn’t look good with your hair. Tanning is so over done! You can get glittery bronzer lotion that just makes your skin have a very light, healthy glow to it. I think you did a good job with the make-up. Good luck and have a great time at the prom!
STAY AWAY FROM GREEN.ITS NOT CHRISTMAS.AND LOOKS LIKE U DID THE BLUE THING ALREADY
TRY BLACK!!!YES BLACK
YOUR HAIR IS REALLY PRETTY.DONT CHANGE THE COLOR AND DONT TAKE AWAY FROM YR GORGEOUS HAIR BY WEARING SOME REALLY BRIGHT COLOR.AS FAR AS YOUR SKIN.BE HAPPY.ITS CREAMY WHITE.THATS FINE.DONT GO TANNING.THEN U WILL LOOK LIKE A LOBSTER AND IF U USE THE SPRAY TAN IT WILL LOOK FAKE.TRY SOME SHIMMERY LOTION INSTEAD.AS FAR AS MAKEUP,ID GO WITH BROWNS.DEF BROWNS.YOU ARE PRETTY.DONT TRY TO HIDE BEHIND A BUNCH OF MAKE UP AND HAIR DYE.U DONT NEED IT.BROWN EYESHADOW SPARKLY BROWN OF COURSE.BLACK MASCARA BROWN EYELINER AND SOME LIP GLOSSSS.BLACK DRESS.BLACK SHOES AND BLACK NYLONS.BLACK HAND BAG AND A SMILE ON YOUR FACE.ENJOY YOURSELF AND HAVE FUN!!!!
I think you should look at some photos of the actress Debra Messing, she also has long brilliant red hair, she’s not as fair skinned but at least it’s a starting point for color. try http://www.imbd.com and type in her name. Have fun at prom and stay safe!
For special occasions I’ve always been kind of fond of ‘dark jewel’ colours with my own red hair and pasty skin – lush garnet type reds, deep purple, emerald, and dark midnight blues. This may be because my mother used to dress me in either icky pale pastels or violently clashing bright colours when I was a bratling. Stay subtle on the makeup (you don’t need it) and definitely definitely don’t try to fake a tan.
