Want a more lifted eye look? Or a slightly more dramatic way to wear your eyeshadow? Try the outer V technique. I use it often in my tutorials, but in this one, I describe exactly how I do it. This video was so simple and helpful. Thank you so much Emily!
Thank you so much for posting. This has helped me like you would not believe. I use it in some of my videos and made my own version of it. Your video is prodigiously informative, and you clearly explain every step. This is one of my favorite videos!
your skin is comparable to porcelain! its flawless. great job people overlook drugstore brands and there are some great products for way less than mac but are just as nice to use
@katheyleen I agree with you. The makeup was pretty and I liked the neutral colors. I would also have to agree w/ the part on the drugstore brand she used. Most tutorials I watch always use MAC.
how do you know what two colors to choose?? im not sure, can u list some examples?

Oops, sorry! I just realized you were the wrong person that I commented. You probably haven’t seen my videos…(embarrassed)
I have pale skin, as you have seen in my videos. I absolutely can NOT use black. I’ve tried before, and my dad almost had a heart attack. What color can I use? (Ha ha I’m a makeup guru, and I’m asking.)
Are you wearing mascara? If not, you don’t need it.
I love the products you use! I love making that “V” shape, too! I call it a cat eye. I see it on so many models. I saw it in the movie cinema while at the snack stand, and I saw one of those printed cups with that girl from twilight on it, and I loved her makeup so much that I had to copy it. Now every time I do makeup, I can’t help the V.
FINALLY, someone that explains what the hell “outer v” is!! thanks!!
i love this look, i just want to ask what color of eyeshadow do i need to use if i gonna wear a royal blue dress?
I’m so glad I stumbled up this video. I love this look and this is one of absolute best “V” demonstrations I’ve seen by ANY beauty guru on youtube. You have such a gift, Emily. Not only with beauty technique, but also as an educator! I’m a huge fan!
