How often should eye makeup be replaced?

I don’t wear makeup very often, and I noticed the last time I did that my eyes were itchy and bloodshot for days afterward. I’ve heard that eye shadow can get moldy so I’m wondering how long it lasts.

You need to check the life of it by looking at the label, it should have a picture that looks like an open jar and next to it 6m or 12m etc, that means 6 months life or 12 months life.

its like a little open jar that will say 5m 6m 7m 8m
which means you have to replace that product with in 6 months or whatever
Its really important for eye makeup
you should change your mascara every 3 months
just like with tooth brushes and everything
oh thats just because you havent worn make up that much that why it going to get swolen but its ok if you put more makeup on that is going to stop just try to whare more make up oh and that only last for a few days like 2 or something but not more that just maximum
