Three words for you love,
Oil
Free
Moisturizer.
Clean and clear has a good one, but also try not wearing moisturizer during the day, and use it at night instead.
This while keep your face moisturized but also help eliminate shine.
Good luck
I have got the total solution for you. After washing your face with your fancy soap, wash your nose and forehead with Dial Antibacterial Soap. I use the yellow bar. It works great/ perfect. I know because I have to do this. Good luck.
to stop the oil you have to use clinique’s dramatically different moisturizing gel
it is the best!!!!!!!!
The reason you are getting oily is because of the cleanser you are using. Any cleanser that foams (meaning it has Sodium Luareth Sulfate or a similar product) means that it has detergents in it. Detergents WILL remove dirt, oil, and makeup… however, it ALSO removes water from the skin. Since the skin cannot put this moisture (water) back on it’s own, it overcompinsates by producing more oil (thus that really dry feeling and then getting oily). To keep this from happening, use a detergent free cleanser (NO foaming, even if it says detergent free). A good, cream cleanser – to clean the face, an alchohal free toner – to remove excess toner, ANY moisturizer – oil free or not – to keep water from escaping during the day, and a good night cream – to replenish water- I like Dior. This will keep your skin’s oil to water ratio equal and prevent you from getting oily. Keep in mind that the cream cleanser feels greasy, but these are CLEANSING oils and do not penetrate the skin and cause oiliness. Good Luck!!
First of all….does your moisturizer have mineral oil in it?
If it does then it’s sitting on top of your skin adding to your oil.
If it doesn’t then I would recommend 2 products of mine.
1. Arbonne’s “Intelligence” personalizer: It’s a plant and mineral based powder/absorber that goes on BEFORE your moisturizer. You can use it throughout the day.
2. Arbonne’s Mineral Powder Foundation: a very light, airy, flawless finish that doesn’t add any oil to your skin.
It’s similar to Bare Minerals….but half the price.

A late note about Dial Soap. Dial was always a dry soap, but, about a year ago, they changed the formula and added moisturizers. Now, the word New appears on the package. It still works fairly well because of the antibacterial (Triclocarban), but you can find versions of the old Dial soap at Aldi, Dollar General, CVS, and so on. Those stores carry a generic gold soap that is antibacterial and just like the old Dial. I mainly use the generic version, but I use both.
By the way, if you ever grow old and have red bumps on your body, then bathe with Dial Soap for a week. The problem is gone. Good luck.
I have really oily skin, and I’ve gotten great results from the Mary Kay TimeWise skincare. There are two formulas and one is for combination/oily skin. I’d be happy to send you free samples if you’d like to give it a try!
